前回ハッシュタグ機能も搭載され一部を除いてPC・アプリ版ともほぼまともな日本語表記になってきたようです。動作や外観はほとんど昔のTwitterみたいに感じます。

⚙️暗い場所だと反応しなかったPixel 8の指紋認証がシステムアップデートで改善されたかも｜かこって検索｜爆速

暗い場所でのPixel 8の指紋認証

少しの間眠らせていたPixel 8を取り出してシステムアップデートをかけたら暗がりでことごとく認証に失敗していた画面内指紋認証が反応するようになりました。まれに失敗しますがほぼ問題のないレベルへと。

最近知ったのですが暗い所、もしくは真っ暗闇で指紋認証登録を済ませばその後の認証成功比率が向上することを知り、ここ数か月間何やってたんだろうと先日グタッときた次第です。

かこって検索

Googleが「かこって検索」のTV CMを流していたので試しにその機能を使用してみました。画面下部中央の短い下線長押しですぐに検索可能でスマホ画面に表示されているものなら画像・テキスト関係なく利用でき1秒もかからずに検索結果表示が可能。またカメラ画面で使用すると撮影することなく同機能が使えるので素早く使えそうです。

AI活用した機能なんでしょうけどこれは多用するかもしれないと直感しました。例えばAmazonのスマホアプリのカメラから商品を撮ると即座にAmazon.co.jp内で商品を探し出せ手便利ですが「かこって検索」はその上位互換というかWeb全体から検索できるので汎用性に富んでいる気がします。この機能を主要なショッピングサイトなどから絞り込んで表示させることができれば割と神的存在になるかもと思いました。

それとこれを書いている今試したのですがスマホ画面のスクショを撮ってアプリアイコンをかこって検索にかけたらそのアプリの検索結果が表示されました。語句ではなくそこまでメジャーではないアプリのプラグラマーが作成した丸いアイコンのイメージ画像でその検索結果が出ることに少しびっくりしました。どういうアルゴリズムが不明ですがこれもAI活用なのかも。

　どこの設定いじったのか忘れたのですがこのPixel 8、CPUのランクを2つ上げたくらいメッチャ爆速になりました。リフレッシュレートを可変～120Hzに変えたとかじゃなくて。困りました。それを覚えてないと何かあった時に戻せなくなる。それともOSのAndroid 14システムアップデートで何かしらの変更があったのでしょうか。マジで別物です。ヌルヌルとかじゃなくてもうテキパキ瞬時に画面が切り替わ操作感すごいです。原因分かる人います～? WEBで調べてはみたのですが.. （コメントプリーズ🙇🏻）
